  • DESCRIPTION

When launched in 2008 the Crossbones marked the end of an era for Harley-Davidson as it was to be the last Softail model to carry the ‘Springer’ front forks as the impending euro 4 specification required all 2018 model bikes to have ABS. As this was not possible to fit to Springer forks the model went out of production in 2012.

This 2009 model was purchased new from Robin Hood Harley-Davidson in Nottingham, a two owner from new bike it has covered just 3,320 miles and remains in very good overall condition. A full service history bike it recently had a stage 2 kit fitted to the Twin Cam 1584cc motor. The 6 speed gearbox certainly makes a big difference, for a big bike it pulls like a train and is surprisingly smooth and really comfortable to ride. Supplemented of course by that glorious gurgle that only a Harley V twin with open pipes can make !

It is suppled with the owners handbook a small file of invoices and a will have a new MoT.

This really is the ultimate summer cruiser.
