This original right hand drive car was supplied new by Sturgess of Leicester to first owner Mr RR Kearsley of Earls Barton, Northants, in April 1965. The paperwork with car suggests that it has had 5 owners in total, with much maintenance work carried out between 2012 and 2015 which included an overhaul of the non-matching engine in 2015 and the fitment of a new radiator and a stainless steel exhaust system.
It has recently been through our own workshop for a full service and is in very good running order. The engine oil pressure is good, and runs with plenty of power and no smoke. The body is scruffy with defects in the paint, the interior is also showing signs of age but the seats are in good order. This is an E Type at a price break, a good running driving car to use ‘as is’ with the potential to improve later.
Showing 82,988 miles it is suppled with a history file with many bills for maintenance parts, a workshop manual, JDHT dating cert, UK V5C logbook and an Mot until April 2017.
