The series 3 Spider “Aerodinamica” was introduced in 1982 with a 2.0 L (1,962 cc) DOHC 2 valves per cylinder four-cylinder engine, fuel fed by twin two-barrel 40DCOM4/5 Weber carbs for Europe producing 126 bhp at 5400 rpm while the USA models retained the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection it ran until the S4 was introduced in 1990.
This Left hand drive example from 1985 has had four owners in total and comes with a large history file showing much maintenance over the years. Showing 164,881 kms ( 102,452 miles ) it has sixteen old MoT’s that go back to 2000 when the milage was stated as 147,360 kms, the current MoT is March 30th 2023.
In generally good order the body was repainted a few years ago is still in good order with the exception of one defect on the passenger side. The interior is showing signs of age, but the seats have recently been recovered and the car runs and drives well.
