The BMW E46 was the fourth generation of the 3 Series, built from 1997 until 2006 and was the last to feature the straight 6 cylinder engine before the V8 E90 model of 2005. The performance model M3 was introduced in 2000 as 2-door coupé or a convertible available in 2001, powered by the 3.2 litre 338hp S54 engine with either a 6-speed manual or the 6 speed SMG-II automated manual transmission.
This M3 Convertible was purchased new from Henry Brothers BMW of Glasgow and registered 16th June 2005. It has had 3 former keepers and covered just 46,000 miles with a full service history. Fitted with the rarer and more desirable 6 speed manual gearbox, it is finished in silver grey metallic with fantastic ‘Imola’ red leather seats and black carpets and has also been upgraded with CSL wheels.
