This fine BMW R60/2 was delivered new to the UK and registered 4th May 1961. It appears it was fitted from new with this fabulous Steib S 501 sidecar that remains with it today.
Having had just 5 owners from new the bike was restored in the early 1990’s and was subsequently shown at several classic vehicle shows. There is a small history file that has pictures of the restoration and a few old MoT’s that go back to 1992 when the milage was 46,718.
Now showing 48,192 miles this fine and iconic combination has just had a service and new battery fitted and is in good running condition. A matching numbers bike it remains in generally very nice order and is supplied with its original bluff logbook, the current V5C and a maintenance handbook.
