    • Chassis Number 387
    • Engine Number KTOR/M/32349
    • Registration FC 9590
    • Price £249,995

First registered 9th December 1925 by the Layton Garage, Oxfordshire this is believed to be one of only approx eleven early SS100’s built that pre date the later Alpine Grand Sport specification SS100 model. There is no factory record card for this example so there is some conjecture to it being an even rarer SS80/100.

Not known to the UK Brough Club until 1974 it was purchased by the current owner, a well known a discerning classic car and motorcycle collector in 2007 in a dismantled state and restored by marque expert the late Tony Cripps with OHV engine number KTOR/M/32349, following this work it was awarded the best SS100 at the Brough Club Annual Rally.

Fitted with a Binks ‘Mousetrap’ carburettor this example is in excellent working order and remains in excellent cosmetic condition. It comes with full UK road documentation including its original Oxford registration number FC9590 and a history file of the rebuild that contains many photos of the bike.

We are delighted to be offering such a rare and valuable motorcycle for the first time since the restoration, Brough Superiors continue to be the most sort after collectable motorcycles in the World, this example is no exception.
