The BSA A65 650cc unit construction engine was first introduced in 1962. With names like Spitfire, Hornet, Lightning, and Firebird the bikes conjured up the imagination of the buying public specifically in the USA where there was a big export drive.
This ’68 Firebird was recently fully restored by a mark expert, a matching number example it remains in excellent condition all round and has only covered test milage. Showing just 671 miles it supplied with a dating certificate and UK registration documents.
