Registered here in the UK in 2016 this A65 L has been subject to a recent comprehensive restoration by a marque specialist to a very high standard that has included an engine rebuild to original specification but with electronic ignition. Imported to the UK from the USA the bike is made up of a genuine Lightning frame manufactured 3rd Nov. 1967 and a genuine A65L motor built March ’68 both sent to BSA incorporated, Nutley N.J USA.
This immaculate example is supplied with a build sheet, BSA owners Club dating certificate, and UK V5C logbook. It remains in excellent order throughout and in great running condition and has only covered a few test miles which means the engine will need to be run in. A fabulous ‘as new’ example.
