In 1982 the iconic Ducati 900 SS was replaced by the restyled 900 S2. The 864cc bevel drive V twin engine was the same with the exception of an electric starter. Only 1,236 were built between 1982 and 1984 before production ceased.
This example had been part of the well known and respected MC motorcycle museum collection in Stockholm Sweden for some time before coming to the UK and being sold by us in 2016. Since then in has only covered about 1,000 kms and in that time the bike has received a top end rebuild and major service. Now showing 64,326 kms, which is believed genuine this fine example remains in original / unrestored condition.
It has had a recent oil change and is in good working order. This is a good opportunity to purchase a legendary bevel drive Ducati that not only has an electric starter but is half the price of a current value 900SS.
