First registered 24th June 1977 this matching number 900SS was supplied new by Sports Motorcycles Ltd ( Steve Wynne ) Manchester.
A four owner bike in total the previous owner acquired it from John Fallon at Made in Italy Motorcycles in 2007 and had kept it well maintained since then. We have fifteen old MoT’s the earliest that goes back to 1980 when the milage was showing as 6,895, we believe the current milage of 15,837 is genuine.
Recently serviced the bike also has just had the carbs rebuilt, a new battery fitted and is in very good working order. An older restoration / original bike it remains in generally good condition but the body work does have a few scratches and is showing signs of wear, but there are no dents in the fuel tank. It retains its original Borrani alloy wheels and Conti exhausts and has a good history file.
One of just 633 bikes built in 1977 ( right foot braking ) these early Silver and Blue coloured bikes are among the most collectable of the Ducati 900’s, this is a fine example that could be improved or just enjoyed as is.
