  • DESCRIPTION

This genuine 289cu V8 Fastback was built at the Ford Dearborn plant in Michigan, Missouri on the 16th Sept. 1965, fitted with a dual range auto (C-4) gearbox and finished in ‘Emberglo’. It was reported as being comprehensively restored in the 1990’s before being imported to the UK from Tennessee in 2015. A history file with the car contains a number of photo’s that show the body being restored and all the running gear overhauled, along with a handwritten record of all the work and some parts invoices from various suppliers. The car has obviously been re painted and re trimmed as it remains in first class order, the engine bay detailing is also very good. Fitted with the original drum brakes all round and air conditioning the car does not have power steering, it does however run and drive exceptionally well. This is a very well presented example in an unusual and very striking colour, currently showing 18,778 miles. With an MoT until Jan 2017 it is suppled with an original owners hand book, and UK V5C logbook.
