The Sportster 883R was introduced in 2002 and took its styling from the legendary Harley XR750 Flat Track race bike of the 1970’s. This version was only in production for two years and was the last of the rigid mounted Sportster engines, apart from the vibration the handling was a bit crisper than the rubber mounted bikes that came after.
This example has had 4 previous owners and remains in truly excellent condition, and does not show any of the typical corrosion signs that Harleys of this age normally have. The body work has absolutely no marks on it, its hard to believe this bike is now 22 years old !
Fitted with a Screaming Eagle Stage 1 exhaust and free flow air filter it has covered just 5,550 miles. Supplied with the owners handbook, service history, two keys and MoT until 1st June 2024 – it might be the best one currently for sale ?
