This left hand drive Series 2 Roadster was dispatched from Jaguar 12th March 1969 to the British Leyland distributor in New York. It was re imported to the UK from the state of Wisconsin in January 2021 and re registered soon after.
The car was then subject to restoration work which included a full bare metal respray in its original colour of regency red. Supplied with a JDHT cert. owners manual and a copy of the US title this is a good useable example. The condition of the body work remains good and the car is fitted with a new mohair hood but the interior is more or less original. The engine runs well, it has a manual gearbox and has been converted to triple SU carbs. Generally this is a sound car with room for improvement that can be used as is.
