Registered 1st March 1966 this right hand drive UK supplied MkII was an original 3.4 litre manual / overdrive car when purchased by its forth owner in 2006. At that time the car had already undergone a body restoration and was stripped down ready to be re assembled.
During the subsequent restoration work the original engine was replaced with a VSE 4.2 litre unit that had been fully balanced with a gas flowed and ported head with larger inlet and exhaust valves, up rated cams, electric ignition and a Hayward & Scott stainless exhaust system. An oil cooler and uprated radiator and fan had also been fitted. It is estimated that the milage on the car at that time was aprox 86,000 the current image is showing as 104,560.
Other modifications to the car included uprating the front brakes and suspension a LSD and a rebuild of the original gearbox. A full list of the work completed is with the car plus a history file with many bill and invoices for parts used.
Finished in British racing green with a green leather interior the car remains in very fine general condition, it sounds and drives great. A well presented example with some good modification making it a reliable and drivable classic for modern road conditions.
