Registered 7th October 1970 this extremely well presented Elan SE has had much work carried out by the last owner of some 16 years. The body was stripped and repainted by Europa Engineering ( Lagoon blue ) in 2004 and a galvanised Lotus chassis frame was fitted, the engine was rebuilt and the car was fitted with 5” centre lock minilite wheels. In addition the front and rear suspension were overhauled in 2017.
Showing 28,000 miles which are believed genuine the car has a substantial history file that shows a huge amount of work carried out plus 12 old MoT’s.
The body work on the car remains in excellent unmarked condition the interior also in in great order having been largely replaced in 2006 and it is also fitted with a mohair soft top and vinyl hood bag. Mechanically it is in in great running order and is really fun to drive.
A really well looked after Elan in much better than average condition this car has been more or less completely rebuilt over a period of time and really well maintained. A ready to go car, its needs nothing more than a new owner. Supplied with UK V5C and a great history file.
