According to the original bill of sale with this bike it was purchased new in 1952 for the princely sum of one hundred and thirty nine pounds, eleven shillings and two pence from Harry Nash Motors Ltd, Hammersmith London W6.
Registered 18th April ’52 this fine example has had six owners in total and comes with a large history file that shows much restoration and maintenance work over the years including an engine rebuild in 2013, a Norton Owners Club dating letter that states it as being matching numbers with the original gearbox, it also retains it’s original registration number.
It remains in great condition and good running order. This is a nice example of Norton’s top of the range 500cc overhead valve single with a great history. Also supplied with an original buff logbook and current UK V5C.
