This Norton Manx race bike was constructed in 2007 to 1961 specification by Pete Swallow using a Richard Adams frame and a Summerfield Racing engine (enclosed valve springs). It was refurbished in 2016/17 prior to the following seasons in which it competed in the Landsdowne Classic Series for which it holds a current scrutineering certificate (WRR class). Fitted with a 6 speed Schafleitner gearbox and NEB belt primary the bike has standard Manx forks and Falcon rear shocks. It is supplied with a build sheet of the work done in 2016 which includes an engine rebuild as well as more recent work.
Having achieved an 8th place in the Landsdowne at Mallory and a 2nd at Lydden Hill in the British Historic in 2017 it remains in excellent condition with no accident damage and is in ‘ready to go’ mechanical order. A well proven, tested and reliable classic racer it is ready for this years season.
