Porsche factory records show that that this T6 body 356 B was built 24th August 1962 and sent to the USA when new. It received some restoration work in 2015 while in Massachusetts before being imported to the UK in 2016, at that time the milage was showing as 17,384 (dated MoT on file).
Now showing 18,381 miles the car underwent restoration work in 2017 including a bare metal respray in its original colour of silver metallic. Retaining its original engine the car remains in generally good condition, the paint has a few minor blemishes but the body shell looks corrosion free. The interior is largely original but new carpets have been fitted. Mechanically the car is good, the engine has plenty of go, and does not smoke on start up.
The car is supplied with a good history file of the work carried out both here and in the USA, there is also data stick that has a number of pictures of the car undergoing the body restoration, it is also supplied with an original drivers manual and two workshop manuals.
A fine matching number example in the traditional colours of silver with a black interior this is a sound and very useable 356 that is ready to go.
