First registered 20th April 1937 this wonderful 500cc Rudge Special has been part of a collection owned by a member of the Rudge-Whitworth family. A buff logbook that’s with the bike shows it was located in Middlesex in the late 1960’s and that it retains its original engine and registration number. The bike appears to have been restored at some time as the frame and body work paint is still in nice order although obviously now aged. The fuel tank its self has no dents and overall the bike remains clean with no signs of corrosion. Mechanically the bike runs well, and has a fine sound through the twin ‘fish tail’ exhausts. Supplied with a current V5C logbook this is a fine useable example.
