Launched in 1971 the GT750 was the first Japanese water cooled motorcycle. While the other Japanese manufacturers concentrated most of their early production on four stroke engines Suzuki developed ever intricate two strokes, the ‘Grand Tourismo’ 750 was more of a sports tourer than an outright sports bike, the 739cc triple motor producing aprox 67 bhp, it become affectionately known as the ‘Kettle’ in the Uk and stayed in production until 1977.
This early J model with a drum front brake was supplied new to Holland and came to the UK in 2015. Having had one owner here since it remains in very good condition overall and in good running order. It is supplied with UK registration documents and is showing 34,395 Kms – 15,158 miles.
