This genuine home market supplied TR4 was first registered 24th July 1964. Of the 40,253 examples produced between 1961 and 1965 there were just 2,592 cars built for the UK market. This example was the subject of a body off restoration in 2004 which included a colour change from light to dark Blue, pictures of which are available in the history file that accompanies the car. At that time the milage was reset to zero and the car has only covered 8,945 miles since. In addition the car has been very well maintained since this time and has many bills and receipts in the file for maintenance work and service work.
Fitted with a Surrey top and overdrive gearbox the general condition of the car is good, the body is sound however the paint does have a few minor defects. Mechanically the car is in very good running order, it received a comprehensive service in Nov 2015, and also has recently received a full check over in our own work shop. A well presented and generally clean example it comes with an MoT until Nov. 2016 and will prove a reliable classic that is ready to go.
