Imported to the UK in 1991 this is one of the last ‘DU’ serial numbered TR6 models built, being built in late August 1968 as a ’69 model. This was also the year that the bikes were officially re named from Trophy to Tiger, however most people including the factory workers continued to refer them as a Trophy.
This matching number TR6 ‘C’ model has been the subject of recent restoration work which included a rebuilt cylinder head, new fuel tank and new carb.
Currently showing 21,879 miles the bike has a good history file with bills and receipts for maintenance and old MoTs that go back to 2000 when the milage was stated at 11,670. In good running order and fine cosmetic condition it is also supplied with a workshop manual and two sets of keys.
